This is the second rendition of the Trent Ecological Restoration Conference, albeit under a different name. This conference aims to provide an opportunity for ecological restoration practitioners, academics and people engaged in the conservation field to come together and share practical and experiential learnings. The hope is for this event to provide valuable connections with one another to further the ecological restoration work in our region and support thriving biodiversity.
We are seeking anyone interested in facilitating or studying ecological restoration to present at our conference, and welcome anyone interested to attend.
This conference will be hosted at the University of Waterloo on October 16-17th, 2026.

Trent University
The Trent Ecological Restoration Conference (TERC) was the inaugural start to this conference series. It hosted over 40 speakers and 200 attendees who came together to learn and share knowledge of a variety of different restoration initiatives.
